“Art to me can be found in ‘unexpected places’. I have deliberately chosen to use discarded beehives as a medium and to celebrate their beauty.

The challenge to a viewer comes from seeing beauty within these ordinary pieces of discarded materials. I am asking the viewer to forget the traditional constructs of art, to take the time to see a value in looking at their world in a different way.”
