The stand-out piece is hand woven with copper and powder-coated aluminium over a timber substrate. It draws the eye and catches the light beautifully.
Anna Gedson is a Bay of Plenty-based artist who is deeply inspired by her Māori heritage. She endeavours to give each of her sculptural works a unique and contemporary appearance. Anna enjoys working with a combination of materials (flax, feathers, metal) to achieve her visual sculptures.
